Scrap Camp...

That's it, I am all packed for tomorrow, got all the essentials: scrapbooking bags, camera and Elsie's book!
I am going to Scrap Camp in Bristol with Zuleika. We are going to leave just after work and stay there tomorrow night. Then on Friday, we have got our classes: one with Elsie Flannigan in the morning and one with Claire Cameron in the afternoon. We are going to learn how to doodle with Elsie and making a Junkitz kit with Claire. I am so excited!!!
We will come home on Friday night. I am going to take lots of photos, I will post them at the week end.

Anyway, going to bed so I am in top form for the next couple of days!

Going to miss my three men, love you boys!

Am I WEIRD!!!!

I have been tagged by Nic! I need to list 5 weird (funny as well!) things about me! So here we are:
  1. the way I speak with my "broken English" as Kerry and Zuleika tell me at work! Even my little boy Adam tells me I don't say words properly...Probably to do with the fact I am French!!!
  2. So I am French but I do not eat cheese, it hate cheese ...Isn't that weird for a French girl!!!
  3. Mayonnaise makes me feel sick! Probably to do with the fact that when I was young I had too much of it with a meal. I was very sick because of it so after that I starting hating mayonnaise! But one day, my brother locked me in the kitchen when my mum was out and fed me an entire jar of mayonnaise with a teaspoon! So now I REALLY hate it!!!!
  4. I eat really weird things according to my friends. I like snails, frog legs, pig's ears and trotters and brain...Probably the French in me!!! French people are well known to eat weird things!
  5. And the last one is about my feet! I hate people touching my feet. I get really crossed and stressed out if people touch my feet. I specially hate the feet to feet contact in bed!!!

That's it! Now you know all the funny things about me !!!!

Lovely Sunday...

Today has been a lovely day. After doing all the boring tidying up in the house, we went to Danbury Park for a walk with Steve, Louise, Oliver and Phoebe. As part of their homework, Adam and Oliver needed to get some natural materials collected in the woods to make a natural collage...We all had so much fun round the park collecting leaves, feathers, moss...
Jake love being on dad's shoulders and used his head as a drum!! Adam is so growing up now, he is just so much fun and such a little monster!

Then we went for a BBQ round Steve and Louise. It was a lovely evening. We had such lovely food, Steve cooked a butter squash using Jamie Olivers'recipe...It was so nice to have dinner outside drinking wine. It was probably our last meal out for a while until our special bonfire night party! The children were so tired after their sleep over but they were very good, we probably will have a bad time in the morning trying to get ready but it was worse it!

In a month, it will be Jake's first birthday. The year has gone so quickly, he looks so growing up having his lunch today. He is such a happy little baby! He stll has got that mad hairstyle but I am going to take him to the hairdressers' next week.

Jake was born on Halloween night. Last year, we had a big party for Halloween and we carved some pumpkins. So when I cameback from hospital with Jake, I took a few photos of Jake with the pumpkin. Here is the result!

My little baby has grown so much!

My Crocs...

That's it, I finally got a pair of Crocs. I wanted some for so long. I really wanted some red crocs but they have sold out everywhere...so I got some blue one yesterday in town and I am so pleased!!! I have also ordered some red crocs on the internet so hopefully they will be in stock soon!
I am going to decorate them just to take a few photos and scrapbook them...I am so excited!!! Can't wait to show them to Kerry and Zuleika at work as I know they HATE them!!!

Sleep over!

On Saturday night, Adam had his first sleep over at his friend Charlie. He was so excited about going all week. Three little monsters went to stay at Charlie...Oliver, Charlie and Adam. He packed so much stuffs to go there: his dressing gown, pyjamas, sleepers, wash bag, cuddly toys...and his new glow in the dark pants!!!(Apparently they did not glow!!) I think the four of them have been an hand full. They finally managed to go to bed at 11pm when Charlie's mum sat in the room with them until they dropped off! They had a great time...so did we as we went out for a meal. We went to the waterfront which was so nice, we have not been out for so long...What a treat!

Un jour a la plage...

I have managed to use my LO for Cara's Challenge#3 and Elsie's Challenge #8. I love them photos of Jake that I took on holidays in France. He was wearing that old fashion swim suit that I love, he was so funny as he was trying to crawl and walk at the same time making him looks like a crab!!!

My Beetle...

Elsie Challenge #7: I have enjoyed so much doing that LO. I have been able to use all my pink ribbins and papers...How fun!!!
I am also very pleased with the results....What do you think????

Whispnade Zoo...

On Sunday, we went to Whispnade Zoo for the Day.
We left quite early to get there. After a 3 hours trip we finally got there! It normally takes only 1 hour but we went up the A1 not the M1!....Just got a bit lost!!!
Once we got there, we had a lovely time. You can take your car in the Zoo but we decided to walk around as it was such a sunny day...We didn't quite realized how big it is.
We had fun with Martin trying to take a photo of us two! Might have to use some of the photos for Elsie Challenge "Scrapbook them funny pictures".
Adam had fun running around and pretending he was a lion! Jake seemed to like the animals. He especially liked his brother been silly!

There are 8 elephants there and they were fun to watch. The "little ones" kept fitting. The elephants were so funny waiting in a row for their feed, they nearly crushed the little van. The zoo keeper had to keep moving his van as they were getting closer and closer to get their food!
Later, we saw them walking around the Zoo in a perfect line holding each other...They looked so sweet.

I really like the Zebras too, they looked amazing.
I loved the Zoo especially seeing the animals having more space and freedom. I would love to go again when Jake is big enough to run around too.

Artistic Photograph...

Elsie Challenge #7 is to create a LO with an artistic photo, so I decided to take photos of my Black Beetle! I don't like driving but I love my car! I have a pink flower in it so I am going to use lots of pinks for my LO. It will be nice to use pink as I normally use boys colours!

A Bit Fed Up!

Today, I am a bit fed up because I have been sick again last night! I have had enough of that sick business!I can't eat but I don't fancy anything anyway!
I thought I will update my blog. I took that picture of Jake the other morning as we were getting ready for work. He is so funny in the morning, he follows Adam and me everywhere! He loves going to the bathroom and plays with my hairbrush....I think he actually needs it with the amount of hair he has got. It is out of control!!

You are My World...

Last night, I finished my LO for Cara's Challenge this week and I am also going to use it for Elsie Challenge #5. I was very pleased with it.

Got to explain....

Now I should start to write a few words in french at the end of each post. I have told my mum about my blog so she can see what I am up to and see all the photos of her grandchildren. She can not understand english so I will need to translate for her!!

Un Moment de Tendresse

This is my layout for Cara's challenge!

I am pleased as I have managed to combine Cara's challenge and Elsie Challenge #4. I still need to do Elsie challenge #5, I hope I will be able to do it before sunday.

On Sunday, I am going to the Artbase Crop. I am quite excited as it will be a nice day out , get to go to the shop and do some scrapbooking!

First Day in Year One...

Adam looks so miserable, he is already thinking '"Mum, why do you have to take picture of me all the time!!". He was very excited to be in Year One. He thinks that in Year One, he will grow lots of hair on his legs!!!...Don't know where he has got that idea from!

He is a bit worried about having to work too!! Good luck little man!

Happy Campers...

Last week end, we went camping for a few days. We went with some friends:
  • Steve and Louise and their children Oliver and Phoebe ,
  • Sandra and James with their children Charlotte and Tom. It was their first time as campers, they loved it!

Jake loved camping and crawling about. His best fun was playing with the pans!

On Saturday, the weather was a bit grey so we went for a lovely walk in the woods in search of the Gruffalo!

The Dads look so cool pushing the buggies together. What a team effort!

The children kept going on adventures with their backpacks and their torches. They were so sweet looking after each others! They loved their freedom!

On Sunday, we went to the pool as it was so hot. And then we went to the pub for a pint, the boys were so pleased to be able to seat up at the bar...They felt so growing up even in their pyjamas!!!
Anyway, we all had a great time and can't wait until next summer to go again.

Nic's crop...

Finally, I have finished my layout from Nic's Crop. I am very pleased with it. It was the perfect picture for it, great colours! Jake was only a couple of months on that picture.

A visit to the Fair...

A few week end ago, Adam went to the fair with his best mate Oliver. They had a ride on the motorbike and they loved it!
They pretended it was a real motorbike!!!
