Horrid Henry...

On Saturday, Adam asked me to buy him a book called Horrid Henry. On the way to Whispnade, I read him some stories about Horrid Henry and his younger brother Perfect Peter. We were laughing saying how Adam is horrid Henry and Jake is Perfect Peter as he looks so sweet...
We got it all wrong...Jake is Horrid Henry and Adam is Perfect Peter...Check the it out!!!

Lovely memories...

Whispnade Zoo

Last Sunday, we spend the day at Whispnade Zoo. We had a lovely time. The boys enjoyed looking at the animals. Jake was very curious and impressed by some of the animals. He loved the monkeys and the giraffes. he kept saying "big, big" as he saw the giraffes. Jake loved the train so we went for a train ride and he was very excited. He enjoyed being able to look around.

We saw the hippos which looked so big!!! I think Adam thought they were the best as we saw one doing a huge POO!!!! That was probably the best part of the day for Adam!!!

I love the Zoo. It is so relaxing to walk around and have little halts for coffee overseeing the animals.
I only wish they would not allowed cars around the park as you can not let the children run around quite as you wish!

My 3 men in my life having so much fun!

Jimmy's Farm

On the way back from our camping week end, we decided to stop at jimmy's farm. As the new series "Crisis on Jimmy's Farm" has been on TV, we decided to go there to see all the new additions to the farm like the woodland trial, the vegetable garden and the guinea pig. We ended up spending about 3 hours there. We had a lovely coffee and sausage burger sitting in the herbs garden. Jake soon spotted the scarecrow and he went to sit with them. he ended up taking one arm off...Oops!!

Then we went to see the animals: pigs, cows, sheep's, chicken, ducks...and the famous guinea pigs. The guinea pigs houses look great. Dolly was there showing the children the guinea pigs and helping them to hold them. he is such a nice man and he know how to deal with the children if they are unsure about holding the guinea pigs.

Then we went for a walk in the wood. The children enjoyed it so much, Jake walked all the way. He loved being able to walk around. Adam and Ollie enjoyed learning the names of the trees.

We bought some sausages which were yummy! It is a lovely way to spend a nice Sunday afternoon and the children loved it! They even feed the cow with Martin! They were so brave...

Adam is very excited about going back and seeing his friends especially his girlfriend Joanna. His teacher is called Miss Arthur and his teacher's assistant Mrs Green. Adam met his teacher last year in tops play and he really likes her which is great!
Good Luck Adam!!!

..."Mum!, Hurry up, I will be late!" Every year, I get the same comment and Adam can never give me a lovely natural smile!!!...Maybe next year!
