OUCHHHHH....

At about 16:30, I got a phone call from the nursery....I thought Jake was not very well as he was coughing! Jake was fine, it was about Adam. He had fallen over and opened his head badly!!!I was so shocked that I felt like crying. Adam was tidying up all the toys before his tea time when he tripped over a small toy. He had cut his head on the edge of the table. Adam needed to go to hospital to have his head stitched up.
Martin had been away to Gratham and was on his way back. I told the nursery that it would take me about 30minutes to get back. They wanted to send Adam to hospital quickly as he had been bleeding a lot. So I called Richard, his big brother, who took him to A&E in Chelmsford with Kelly from the nursery.
I went to the nursery to pick up Jake.By then Martin told me he would be back in time to collect Jake from nursery. They were all so upset about Adam and told me his cut was quite bad.
It took me a long hour to get to A&E, the traffic was so bad and I got lost as I did not know where it was!!
When Adam saw me, he started crying...I could not believed how deep his cut was, you could see his skull. He had to have 3 stitches inside and 5 outside. He did not cried when the doctor was doing it, he was so brave. I was so proud of my brave little boy!!!
It was the first time that one of the boys hurt himself...I did not realised how much it was going to "hurt" me.
Adam is looking like a real pirate now!

IL NEIGE!!!

When I woke up at 6am this morning, I had a look outside and it was snowing so so much....It was beautiful. Adam woke up and came in my bed. He was so excited, we stayed in bed for a while watching the snow falling!Near 8 o'clock, Martin tried to take Jake to Nursery but it was shut. Wentworth School was shut too so that meant I had to stay home with the children.
We went round Oliver's (Adam's Friend) and the kids played in the snow! Jake seemed to love it, he was so cute walking in the snow! Here is our beautiful snowman!!! He is very special as he has got a chip for his nose as Louise did not have a carrot. Adam, Oliver and Phoebe had a great time! They were frozen but they kept going out to play more and more. Jake wanted to follow them so much!
Happy Days!!!

After some lunch, we went to Monkeys Puzzle thinking it would be packed but it was very quite. We met up with a lot of Adam's friends. They had a great time. They tough they were there for a party! Adam's girlfriend Joanna was there too...he was so pleased!!

It has been a very long day full of excitement...my little baby Jake was so tired that he went to sleep at 5 o'clock and Adam was exhausted too!

So so cute!!!

Jake got a pair of wellies for Christmas. I love them they are so so cute! I had so much fun watching him walking round the house with his wellies on! He could not walk with them at first but soon got used to them!

Mow Mow...

Jake has a cuddly toy that he takes everywhere and sleeps with...It is a cow called Noma the Cow but we have decided to call it Mow Mow ! Last week, I have ordered a new Mow Mow just in case we lose it! Jake has dropped it a few time in Tesco, at the Zoo....
I am surprised he has a comfort toy as Adam has never had one. I bought Mow Mow when Jake was born. They started to be inseparable a few months ago.
I love Mow Mow...she is so cute!

Christmas Day...

Jake woke up about 6am. Adam heard him and soon came in our bedroom running shouting "Father Christmas has been, he has filled up my stocking right to the top!". He was so excited to see all the presents around the tree. he knew straight away that the biggest box was for him. He was very pleased to see that he had got his playmobil 's castle! He was so pleased with his gameboy too!
Our little Father Christmas Jake loved touching all the presents and had to climbed over them to play with the tree! He seemed to love it!

As expected, Jake played with all the empty boxes before he even looked at his own presents!
We all had a lovely meal and relaxed watching TV and playing with all the new toys...

Christmas Eve...

I love that feeling on Christmas Eve when everything is ready: all the presents are wrapped, the food is on the fridge...
Today has been a lovely relaxing day. I have baked some fresh mince pies and I have chilled out.

Tonight we went to ours neighbours Jason, Ria and Tom for a Christmas drink. We had a lovely time.
When we got home Adam sprinkled the special reindeer's food that he bought at his school's Christmas bazaar. It is supposed to attract the reindeer so father Christmas stopped at the home. Adam also put a mince pie, a glass of cherry, a glass of milk and a carrot. He is so excited...I am sure Father Christmas will be here soon so I also need to go to bed...just in case he has lots of presents for me!!!

Good night.xx

One..Two..Christmas Trees...

When I was little, I used to have a white Christmas tree in my bedroom. I used to go to sleep watching the tree every night. On Christmas eve, I used to sleep on the floor next to my tree waiting for Santa. I loved my little tree which made it all special to me. So this year, I decided to get a little white Christmas tree for Adam' bedroom. He was so excited when he saw it. we decorated the tree together and every single night, he put the lights on to go to sleep. It makes me happy for him to think that he might have the sweet dreams about his tree that I had years ago....
Adam and Oliver posing in front of the tree with Franky Frog...

Yesterday afternoon, Martin had some time off to go to Adam's school Bazaar. After, they went to buy a Christmas tree...and today we finally decorated the tree! Adam was so excited about putting all the decorations up. Jake was not too sure at first when he saw the tree in the lounge. After a little feel of the tree, he loved it especially with the lights and decorations on!!!!
Jake loves riding his rocking horse touching the tree and trying to get off a bauble!!!
I love sitting down in the evening watching TV with all the Christmas lights on...how lovely!

We have had a special visitor to come and see our tree...he came on his rocking horse playing the flute...who could it be...It is our little Santa Jake!! He looks so cute in his Santa outfit especially when he is standing up with his fat little Tommy!!!

Merry Christmas...

Teacher's present...

After decorating a tin at Scrap-a-ganza, my friend Sue suggested that I should decorate some for the teachers at Adam's school...so I did it! I really enjoyed using inks to decorate the tins and cut the word "Noel " out of the new Basics Grey paper. I was very pleased with the results. Adam was very proud to take the two tins in. I filled them up with chocolates!

Thank you...

Today Iwent to collect my new toaster. I would like to say Thank you to a secret Santa who bought me a lovely Dualit toaster for Christmas. I have always wanted one...it looks so lovely in my kitchen.
Thank you Santa!!!

A bit of Chemistry....

At work somebody received some samples in a box packed with dried ice...so we had a bit of fun with it!! The dried ice in warm water creates a lovely white smoke as you can see!!!

Here I am in the lab posing for a few photos!!!

We tried to put a massive piece of it in the sink but we had to stop before I could get a good photo as we had some visitors wondering around the lab!!!!

Happy Birthday Kerry!!!

Last Night a few of us from work went out to Prezzo in Maldon for Kerry's Birthday! It was very busy as it was the Victorians evening in Maldon. I have never seen the High Street so busy!
We had a lovely time. Kerry got lots of lovely presents, she was very pleased with her all pink scrapbooking tote!!! It will go so well with her new pink scrapbooking suitcase!!!
After a lovely meal, we went for a quick drink in a pub called the Carpenters. I had not been in there for so long!!!
As always we took a few silly photos!!!
